How to send an alarm to another phone

I’m not sure how many of you know this, but it’s very easy to set an alarm to another phone number if you have one of those fancy new phones.

This is how it’s done:

Go to the alarm screen and press snooze 5 times quickly. The snooze option will change to ALARM SET. Press it and enter the number you want the alarm to ring. It will say ALARM SET 2X, but ignore that as it will still do it.

Press OK to return to the main alarm screen. Press the alarm icon at the top of your phone or SLEEP on your Nokia keypad and that’s it! The phone will beep twice.

Note: You need a SIM in your phone for this trick to work. It won’t work without one, as then there is no number to send the alarm to.

This only works on certain Nokia’s and Sony Ericsson phones. If you have a different type of phone, it will not work.

Now you can set alarms up for friends or family who don’t have a phone! To cancel the alarm, go back to where you set it, press snooze 5 times again, then OK.

But why do you need to set an alarm on another phone?

You can do anything from wish a friend a happy birthday, to set an alarm on their phone so that you go round and wake them up for school or work.

It’s great fun, but be careful not to set too many alarms, or the receiving phone won’t ring!
