Use your chip brush to dab the black paint mixture into the brick mortar, working in 2-foot sections. Repeat the same dabbing motion on the brick face as you did before. Next, use a lint-free rag to wipe away any excess paint that has accumulated on the surface. Continue to work in sections across the fireplace’s width and height.
